What is Intense Pulse Light(IPL) and how does it work?
The machine works by directing an extremely short ,intense pulse or light into the skin.The light

 the hair growth cycle.

What is BOX-IPL?

The BOX-IPL features a hand-held device which directs an extremely short, intense pulse of light

into the skin. The light energy is absorbed by the coloured pigments (melanin) in the hair follicle

below the skin's surface. The energy temporarily stuns the follicle, disabling the growth mechanism

 in the hair and suppressing hair growth for smooth and hair-free skin for up to three months.

How does BOX-IPL work?

The light emitted by the flash is absorbed by the melanin contained in the hair follicle, which is then

converted in thermal energy. The heat produced will then destroy the hair by cauterizing the vessels

 connecting to the base of the hair: The hair falls out and never grows again.

As far as hair removal is concerned, the most important part of the hair is its pigment, the melanin,

which gives the hair its colour. There are as many pigments as there are individuals. Every pigment

type requires a certain wavelength of light. Contrary to the laser which produces a monochromatic

 light (single wavelength), the flash lamp produces a multitude of wavelengths. This allows many

different hair pigments to be targeted by one pulse of light.

Catagen Phase(degradation phase) – This is a short transition stage, which follows,the anagen

 phase and signals the end of active growth of hair. It typically lasts **3weeks .

Telogen Phase (resting phase) – The hair follicle is completely at rest during this phase, which

 is thelongest phase and lasts about **0 days. During this time, the new hairs push out the old hairs,

 allowing the growth cycle to begin again
